Bisque Interiors at Melbourne Design and Decoration 2012

Our wholesale company, Bisque Interiors, just exhibited, once again at the Melbourne Decoration and Design show at the Exhibition Centre in Melbourne. It is a wonderful way for us to showcase all of our beautiful wares to the interior designers, architects and decorators of Australia, who all come to pay us a visit. This year was especially wonderful as we were acknowledged by being given the ‘Best Stand Award’! This is a really prestigious award and it is wonderful to be not only recognised for our beautiful product, but also for the innovative design of our stand which has to work really well visually, but also be practical in order to be torn down and reused at all of these exhibitions that we showcase at. Our stand was ‘Caribbean’ inspired with lots of beautiful white washed shutters, canvas with thick nautical ropes held up by carved white washed beams. We also had a modular wooden floor that was made to look like old floorboards. This was the perfect backdrop to our relaxed collection of furniture, home-wares and lighting. Yay!

Come Inside our Beautiful Store ‘Brauerbirds’

One upon a time there lived a beautiful store named Brauerbirds!

We wanted to take some pictures of or store to share with you who maybe haven’t had a chance to visit us yet. Brauerbirds is located in Byron st, Bangalow; a characterful little town gracing one of the green ridges of the Byron Bay hinterland: home to good coffee, purveyor of interesting and unique homewares and fashions, provider of alternative therapies and luxury accommodation alike. A beautiful wholesome community, where a country lifestyle and a slower pace blend perfectly with traces of an urban and contemporary culture.

All of the buildings and shops in the main street have been preserved to their original state where they beam with a sophisticated character and charm of a bygone era. Our store Brauerbirds used to be the old bank and the large heavy black safe door one full of grandeur now makes the most gorgeous entrance to our… stock room!

We are importers of furniture, home wares and lighting, so our little shop is used as a showcase for our extensive website www.brauerbirds.com.au. We also carry a specialised range of clothing, including Norwegian label Timo, Winter Kate, Virginie Castaway, Hannah Brauer, Joie, Lisa’s Closet, to name a few. We specialise in luxe clothing that are generally natural fabrics, cashmere and furs. Our range of boots & shoes is extensive, including our own range of boots we have made up for Brauerbirds, Sole, Walnut and Nude.

Our gorgeous shop dog ‘charlie’ is often the main attraction and constantly up to new adventures, so we will look forward sharing his tales (tails hehe) with you.

We take great pride in our store presentation and try to always display our beautiful things so our customers can visualise the potential of each of our beautiful things.
